"Cultural" of BURBERRY

BURBERRY iconic check was created and used as a lining in its trench coats in 1924 .The black, white, and red pattern called as "haymarket check "since the first shop in Haymarket ,London. It is registered as a trademark which is widely used on their own items like scarves, umbrella, luggauges, etc.

The pattern shown above are having different terms actually.
(top) Classic check
(bottom) Nova check
The Novacheck was introduced for the younger market,by making it more "exploded" (bigger) and slanted in a diamond pattern.

However, how special on this "common" combination of check?

The red, black and white lines with twill pattern acorss vertically and horizntally. And they are lightened and semi-transparent.The 3black and 2white lines are just placed one by one while the red line is placed (four width lines) distance from the balck and white. And make tem as a single repart pattern.
More color can be shown at the patterns.Matching with the iconic beige burberry color, it can see more layers of the pattern when more tints and shades are added.

After finding the most classic one ,i tried to see the other combination of the "burberry pattern".
It's so tricky that they are all still using the same red, back, white lines come across but only the background colour in hue are changed. The colour mostly using are not in high chroma in hue, just some harmony colour used.
Neverthless, they are still worthwhile in the customers's eyes. It can be said that it's just the classic pattern which is easily to mix and match. But they have no ideas on the colr combination.
It can be said they have a good marketing tatic.
